When Avengers #10 arrives in November, not only will it be a double-sized celebration of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, it will also mark a major milestone in the characters’ careers. It may only be the tenth issue of the heroes’ latest series, but it will be the 700th issue of Avengers ever released, and Marvel Comics is celebrating that fact in a big way with massive developments for the team, and a slew of variant covers.

In addition to running a full 64 pages, the $5.99 issue promises some major developments, from Namor the Sub-Mariner’s new team of Defenders, to the debut of the Agents of Wakanda, more information about the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C. and a new member of the team. And that’s all before it somehow ties into the ongoing mystery surrounding Wolverine’s mysterious resurrection.
