These days, action cartoons are few and far between, and most animated shows are 11-minute comedies. This isn’t a bad thing, since shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe have shown you can make amazing story-driven comedies in a short-format. However, we miss those Saturday-morning, action-packed shows that seem to have gone out of style. With so much success from the comedy-hybrids, it doesn’t seem like serious action shows will be returning anytime soon as successful comedy-driven reboots like Teen Titans Go! and the new Powerpuff Girls have furthered this trend. The universe grows exponentially with each new movie, introducing characters that are already established as who they are supposed to be in the source material. It’s no secret that Marvel Comics is in a rough patch heading in to 2017’s “Legacy” rebranding. Marvel has seen its characters owning movie theaters across the globe, and yet the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is strangely contrasted with a flailing print counterpart. With DC still mired in the final days of the controversial New 52, Marvel burst into a linewide 2015 “Secret Wars” event that successfully concluded the years-long plotting of writer Jonathan Hickman. “Secret Wars” was excellent, but in the following years the architecture of the Marvel Universe has felt flimsy, with no clear direction for the line. Story inspired by novels focuses on Sinanju hijacking Kouzo Oomori launched the Mobile Suit Gundam UC Bande Dessinée Episode:0 manga in the December issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Gundam Ace magazine on Thursday. The prequel manga is based on the Sengo no Sensō (The Postwar War) short story that appears in the 11th volume of Harutoshi Fukui's original Mobile Suit Gundam UC novels. The story centers on the Neo Zeon remnants' hijacking of the Sinanju Stein mobile suit. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko is again credited with the original character designs, and Hajime Katoki is credited with mechanical design. The 11th volume of Fukui's Mobile Suit Gundam UC novels, which combines the Sengo no Sensō and Fushichō Kari (Phoenix Hunting) stories, shipped in March 2016.
