5 Reasons Why Dragon Ball Super Can't Compare to Dragon Ball Z
The classical anime Dragon Ball has been around since 1986 anyway. Based on the manga by Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball has introduced us to anime and gone on to play a vital part in most of ourchildhoods. The series, especially Dragon Ball Z, is so well known and easily recognised that it could easily be considered the most popular anime of all time. As of now, Dragon Ball is still everywhere and will remain firmly implanted in pop culture. This brings us to the present and the new show currently on the air: Dragon Ball Super. When it was announced, fans could not help get excited about what could be in store. With Toriyama back in the helm, Super promised to be a return to form for the anime giant. Did Dragon Ball Super make it? Far from yet. And here are 5 reasons why Dragon Ball Super is not a patch on Dragon Ball Z. 1. Bad Animation Toei Animation is the biggest anime production company in the world. They not only handled all the original Dra

Anime Fans Are Not Happy With The Cruddy Animation Quality in Dragon Ball Super
Anime fans across the globe were left gobsmacked when Dragon Ball Super seemed to take a huge dip in quality. Titled “Decisive Battle on Kaio’s Planet! Goku vs. God of Destruction Beerus,” the fifth episode of Dragon Ball Super aired on August 9th, 2015. Immediately following its broadcast, many viewers expressed their disappointment with the episode’s exceptionally low quality production, particularly the climatctic battle sequence between Goku and Beerus. It's got to suck when you tune in to watch Goku, one of the most globally iconic heroes in modern history, and what you get is... this. The fight has already been seen in "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" in high definition, so naturally, comparing the movie quality and 'Super's' quality, fans see just how bad it is. The quality of the show's animation looks like something off an amateur production company, or something an animation artist would post on YouTube from his fina

Can You Imagine That Vegeta Becomes a Family Man in Dragon Ball Super?
If you haven’t heard by now, Dragon Ball has returned to Japanese airwaves for its first anime series in over 18 years. Dragon Ball Chou, translated as Dragon Ball Super, premiered on July 5 on Fuji TV in Japan. This was the first new Dragon Ball television series since Dragon Ball GT, which aired from 1996 to 1997. Dragon Ball Super's story takes place shortly after the decisive battle with Majin Buu, and will contain plot elements that tie it to the recent Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' film. The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has written down some details on what the second episode for Dragon Ball Super will be about. It sounds like a humorous episode involving Vegeta. The episode will be showing Vegeta as he plans to take a family trip with Bulma and Trunks. This is very interesting as Vegeta is usually portrayed as a “serious” character. The montage showed the family riding on a train, eating ice-cream and e

Dragon Ball Super Vol. 1 Gives Goku & Friends New Battles
Whether you’ve been watching it as it airs in Japan on Crunchyroll, Daisuki or FunimationNow or watching it Saturday nights in English on Adult Swim, you have to admit that “Dragon Ball Super” — the anime continuation of Akira Toriyama’s legendary “Dragon Ball” franchise — is a heck of a ride. Far superior to the derided “Dragon Ball GT,” “Super” widely expands the cosmic scope of Toriyama’s universe while keeping the action and humor that makes the rest of the franchise so entertaining. RELATED: Dragon Ball Launches ‘What If…?’-Style Manga The first volume of the “Dragon Ball Super” manga, written and drawn by Toyotarou from outlines by Toriyama, continues that trend while also cutting a lot of the dead air that crops up when you have to stretch out a story arc across several episodes of a television show (one based on a movie, no less). Toyotarou starts out adapting 2013’s “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods” in just four chapters, then skips the fun fanservice of 2015’s “Dragon Ball Z:
